Nicola : I’m going to buy some fudge.
Louise : OK. I’ll come with you.
Nicola : How much are these? I’ve got two boxes.
Man : They’re one pound eighty-five each. That’s three pounds seventy altogether.
Are you staying here on holiday?
Nicola : No, I’m going to work at my aunt’s hotel. I’m starting this evening.
Man : Don’t forget your fudge!
Nicola : Oh, thanks. Silly me! Oh, look, that’s Tom. The boy who works at the hotel.
Louise : So it is.
Louise : Hi! Tom.
Tom : Hello, you two. How are things? Would you like a milkshake?
Nicola : I’m afraid, I must go. I’m meeting my aunt at six.
Louise : I’ll stay. Is that OK with you, Nicola?
Nicola : Yeah, no problem! See you later!
A few minute later.
Tom : Here’s my brother, Jamie. Hi, Jamie!
Jamie : Can I come home with you?
Tom : Sure. That’s odd, he doesn’t usually want me around!
